Lori Pugh is a distinguished leader with 19 years of experience in the meetings and events industry, excelling on both the planner and supplier sides. As the Director of Events Content and Strategic Engagement for the Path to Purchase Institute, she skillfully creates and executes content strategies for all events, awards, and webinar programs.
In her previous role as Head of Meeting Innovation at Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Lori managed event production and speaker management for MPI’s global portfolio of live and virtual events.
Lori's tenure at Jacksonville’s PRI Productions saw her thrive as both an event producer and manager of the Event Producer Department. She managed high-profile events with partners such as THE PLAYERS Championship, Gator Bowl Association, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. Her prior roles include Special Events Manager at the AAA Five-Diamond resort Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, and Events Manager at the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Lori holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications and Advertising from the University of North Florida and a Master’s Degree in Meeting and Event Management from San Diego State University.
Her industry accolades are numerous, including being named one of Eventex’s Top 100 Most Influential People in the Event Industry in 2022, MeetingsNet’s 2021 Changemakers, and Conventions Magazine’s 22 Millennials to Watch in 2016. Additionally, she served as an anchor for MPI’s Global Meetings Industry Day Broadcast from 2019-2021
