Van started the Van Tarver Group in September of 2014 and joined Green Print in 2015 as an advisor, board member and now serves as Chairman of the Board.

He has over 35 years of executive and senior level management experience in the convenience store and fuel industry. He served as President of Kroger’s Convenience Stores; Supermarket Petroleum Group and the Turkey Hill Dairy for 8 years, President of Quick Stop Markets for 9 years and Senior Vice President of Retail for the Thrifty Oil Company for 17 years.

Van has served 8 years on the NACS Board of Directors, 4 years on the NACSPAC Board of Trustees, 2 years on the California Grocers Board of Directors, 2 years on the Pepsi Retail Advisory Council, 1 year on the CSP Outlook Advisory Council and Board of Directors at Convenience Valet.

He has written articles for various industry trade journals and continues
speaking at industry conferences.

He is a scholarship athlete and graduate of West Texas State University.
