Lori Pugh is a seasoned professional with 18 years of experience in the meetings and events industry. She has worked on both the planner and supplier sides of the business, bringing a unique perspective to her work. Currently, as Director of Events Content and Strategic Engagement at Path to Purchase Institute, Lori creates and executes content strategies for all events, awards, and webinar programs.

She also participates as an expert host and facilitator and creatively tests and refines content delivery ideas to delight attendees. Lori also leads a team responsible for managing audience recruitment and project management, ensuring the successful execution of event content, awards, and webinar programs.

Prior to her current role, Lori served as Head of Meeting Innovation at Meeting Professionals International, where she managed meetings and event production as well as speaker and session management for MPI's global live and virtual event portfolio. She was also an expert facilitator and instructor, delivering MPI Academy content to increase membership value and revenue streams.

Lori spent six years at PRI Productions as an event producer and manager of the Event Producer Department, managing events with partners such as THE PLAYERS Championship, Gator Bowl Association, and the Jacksonville Jaguars. She also held positions as Special Events Manager for the AAA Five-Diamond resort, Ponte Vedra Inn and Club, and Events Manager for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Lori earned a Bachelor of Science degree focused on Communications and Advertising from the University of North Florida and a Master's Degree in Meeting and Event Management from San Diego State University. In recognition of her accomplishments, Lori was named one of MeetingsNet's 2021 Changemakers and Meetings and Conventions Magazine's 22 Millennials to Watch in 2016. She also served as an anchor for MPI's Global Meetings Industry Day Broadcast from 2019-2021.
