Open To All Restaurants & RTN Supplier Members

With two new comprehensive privacy laws having gone into effect on January 1st and a wave of privacy lawsuits and enforcement actions – even on the city level in NYC – restaurants have a lot to think about when it comes to data privacy.

In this session, Fox Rothschild Partner and Chair of GDPR Compliance and International Privacy, Odia Kagan, will go over the hot issues in data privacy for 2023 that restaurants and companies in the hospitality industry should pay attention to:

  • Key to-do’s for the new privacy laws
  • Things to watch for on digital properties (Pixel, Session Replay, etc)
  • Biometrics
  • Automated decision making in employment
  • And more!

*Town Hall registration is open to all qualified restaurant operators (full-service, QSR, or fast-casual restaurants; foodservice operators & management companies; virtual restaurant brands; casinos, cruise lines) only. Tech Solution/Service Providers are eligible to attend the Town Hall who have an active RTN membership. Registrations will be reviewed and are subject to approval.
